Reporting

Facilities Reporting on Every Module — If It's in the System, You Can Report on It.

Collectiveview includes unlimited reporting on every module, and builds most custom reports at no additional cost. We don't meter your ability to see your own data — because the data you put in is exactly the data you should be able to get back out.

We can report on any information that's being put into the system.

That's not a feature limitation disguised as a slogan — it's the actual scope of what we build. Work order history, space utilization, move costs, lease dates, custom fields your team added two years ago — if it lives in Collectiveview, it can show up in a report. And unlike most platforms in this space, we don't charge extra for asking.

Unlimited reporting, standard on every plan.

Most IWMS and CAFM platforms treat reporting as a premium add-on — a handful of canned reports included, with anything beyond that priced per report, per user, or per module.

We built it the other way. Every Collectiveview client gets unlimited reporting across every module they use (viewWORK, viewMAC, viewSPACE, and viewLEASE), with no cap on how many reports you run, how often you run them, or how many people on your team pull them.

Reporting isn't the thing we sell you after the platform. It's part of the platform.

Custom reports — usually at no cost either.

Standard reports cover most day-to-day needs, but facilities teams don't run on standard needs. You need a chargeback report broken down a specific way for finance. A leadership dashboard formatted for a board meeting. A field metric nobody else has ever asked for.

When a client asks for something the standard reports don't cover, our team builds it — and in most cases, that custom work is included at no additional cost. We'd rather build the report you actually need than sell you a generic one and call it close enough.

Every custom report we've ever built came from a client request, not a pricing-tier upgrade.

Enterprise software gives you canned reports. We give you a "yes."

Most enterprise IWMS and CAFM platforms ship with a fixed library of pre-built reports — and the moment your need falls outside that library, you're quoted a project fee, a per-report charge, or a push toward a higher pricing tier. The report gets built around what's profitable for them to sell, not around what your team actually needs to see.

"That's outside the standard package."

A fixed set of canned reports is included. Anything else gets a change order, a consulting quote, or a nudge toward the next pricing tier — before anyone's even confirmed it's possible.

"If it doesn't exist, we'll build it."

No report library to be boxed in by. If the data's in the system and the report doesn't exist yet, that's not a blocker — it's the next thing we build for you, usually at no additional cost.

If it doesn't exist, we will build it. That's our default answer whenever a client asks for a report we don't already have, not something we get to occasionally. No upcharge disguised as a "custom development fee," no waiting for a future release.

Reporting is also how you catch bad data.

There's a reason we push clients to actually use reporting, not just keep it available in case they need it someday: garbage data in equals garbage data out. A report is one of the fastest ways to find out whether the information in your system reflects reality.

Reports surface what's missing

A vacancy report that shows a floor as "fully occupied" when half the seats sit empty tells you exactly where your space data has gone stale — before it costs you a bad lease decision.

Reports surface what's wrong

A work order chargeback report with technician hours that don't add up, or a lease report with a renewal date that doesn't match the actual contract, is a data entry error waving a flag at you.

Reports surface what's inconsistent

When the same field gets filled in three different formats across three different teams, a report is what makes that inconsistency visible enough to actually fix — instead of quietly corrupting every report downstream.

Clean data compounds

Every module in Collectiveview draws on the same underlying data. A space record cleaned up because a report flagged it improves your move planning, your occupancy numbers, and your lease decisions all at once.

If it's a field in Collectiveview, it can be a column in a report.

Reporting isn't walled off to a handful of pre-approved data points. It spans every module your organization uses.

  • viewWORK: SLA performance, technician productivity, chargebacks by department, response and resolution time trends.
  • viewMAC: Move costs by person or project, historical move records, seat conflict trends, HR-sync accuracy.
  • viewSPACE: Vacancy and capacity by floor or building, utilization trends, seat status across the portfolio.
  • viewLEASE: Critical date tracking, CAM reconciliation summaries, full-portfolio lease visibility.
  • Custom fields: Anything your team has added to track something specific to your organization.
  • Cross-module views: Combined reports that pull related data from more than one product together in one place.

No ticket queue. No pricing tier to unlock.

Requesting a custom report works the same way every other request does at Collectiveview — through a person, not a form buried behind a paywall.

Tell your account manager what you need

Describe the report in plain terms: what it should show, who it's for, and what format works (spreadsheet export, dashboard view, printable summary). No technical spec required.

We scope it against your existing data

Because reporting draws directly from what's already in the system, most requests are a matter of arranging existing fields. We're rarely building new tracking from scratch.

We build it and confirm it matches

You review the report against a real data set before it's considered done, so it's actually usable in the meeting or workflow it was built for — not just technically complete.

It's yours going forward

Run it as often as you want. If your needs change later, we adjust it the same way we built it the first time.

Most platforms charge you to see your own data clearly.

We think that's backwards. Unlimited reporting and most custom reports are included — because a platform that hides your data behind a paywall isn't really giving you visibility at all.

Reporting that proves the work — and cleans up the data behind it.

Reporting isn't just an output for our clients. It's frequently the process that gets their underlying facilities data into shape in the first place — building out lease reporting for Mission Federal Credit Union during implementation surfaced years of gaps and errors that scattered spreadsheets had been hiding.
